Kylian Mbappe: I met with Arsene Wenger

Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez played in two Chile defeats during the international break

Kylian Mbappe sees his move to Paris Saint-Germain as an opportunity to quench his thirst for success.

The head of the Spanish soccer league was heavily criticized for using a crude analogy Wednesday to describe the spending by Qatari-owned Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe made the switch to PSG in the weeks after the controversial acquisition of Neymar by the Qatari-owned club.

The 18-year-old was linked with a host of European clubs during the summer but he eventually signed for PSG at the end of last month.

PSG now boast one of the most exciting front-lines in world football, and Mbappe was keen to post an image alongside his new teammate following a busy Tuesday for the France worldwide.

Mbappe, regarded as one of the sport's rising stars, scored 21 goals last season to help Monaco win the Ligue 1 title. However, I came for the project, ' he said.

'Back in May, I was in the frame of mind that I would stay with Monaco.

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott loses appeal, full six-game suspension upheld
The league declined further comment Tuesday night, saying through a spokesman that Henderson's ruling spoke for itself. Even if the lawsuit is dismissed, a new round of litigation could be sparked by Henderson's ruling.

But club president Nasser Al Khelaifi, sat beside Mbappe, said PSG had nothing to hide over the transactions and were confident.

Conversations with Unai Emery were also important in persuading Mbappe, who had also been linked with Real Madrid and Arsenal over the summer.

"When I heard their opinions regarding why he wants to move to Paris, I accepted them and we began hard and tiresome negotiations with PSG", he said. "It's extraordinary to play with someone of that level".

"I think we were very clever", the Portuguese said.

Al-Khelaifi said: "We respect all of Federation Internationale de Football Association and Uefa's rules".

"If the biggest transfer in history had still been (Paul) Pogba, I think (Liverpool forward) Philippe Coutinho would now be in Barcelona at £101m".
